The location of the B&B was furtherer from downtown than I expected, but maybe because I was not very familiar with Dublin city.
... The website indicates that there is internet connection. But it was just a phone line and the phone cable could not be disconnected from the phone. Since I did not have a phone cable (anyway, connecting through phone is too slow), I could not use internet. It shouldn't say that there is internet connection.
Also the shower was way too small! Even I being small-sized, it was really hard to take shower. I don’t think big-sized people can fit in. ... It shound't say that internet connection is available. It's just a phone line! ... Not recommended unless they like the quite environment and tiny shower.

We enjoyed our stay at Waterloo Lodge. The property was nice, the room was clean and as promised. The staff was very friendly, made us feel at home and helped us with directions and other travel arrangements. I would recommend Waterloo Lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in Dublin and would definitely stay there again.

The receptionist could have provided more information about local restaurants and bus routes, but was very nice. The kitchen staff was incredibly considerate about our baby. They made instant friends!

The location is superb, just a short walk from virtually everything in downtown Dublin. We turned in our rental car at the airport, & made use of the excellent public transportation without having the traffic hassles.
In spite of its proximity & convenience to the downtown area, the location is on a side street making it very quiet.
The staff are consistently thoughtful & helpfull; they are excellent examples of Irish hospitality. ... Our only problem was at checkout, when the credit-card system could not be brought on-line. It was an unexpected drain on our cash supply, but was in fact only a minor inconvenience. ... I would suggest added emphasis on the quiet location and easy walking distance to downtown Dublin. ... If you want to see Dublin & experience Irish hospitality firsthand, this is the place to stay.

The hotel was very dirty. Carpets not cleaned for a very long time. Initially we were given a room in the basement, damp and moldy with a moldy shower. In addition, no hair dryer and when people walked in the hallway above it was like elephants walkiing on your head. We asked for a better room above ground and were given a new room which was better but still dingy and dirty. We will certainly not stay there again. ... see above ... should state how dirty it is ... dirty and overpriced but close enough to the centre

Breakfast was horrible! Microwaved and served only with a sense of duty (as a job) Very few options, and quality was severely lacking..
... The gentleman who checked us out was polite and helpful, about the only positive thing I can say about our stay... ... Parking is very limited and tight the building is run-down and reeks of smoke ... Over-priced 3rd rate place, with no services or quality, especially for $99 euros/night! If you are looking for a B&B this place IS NOT! It's essentially a cheap motel, but with a big-city price tag...

The breakfast was probably great for those who like warm breakfast. We were hoping to get a bit bigger variety reagarding the rest of it: cheese and joghurt every morning would have been great.

Unfortunately I had forgotten my written voucher. At first I therefor did not get the agreed price (99Euros) as she wanted 124 Euros from me. After a short discussion I got the agreed price ... The room was not clean. I think also the standard of the bathroom was poor. The TV did not function ... We were told just to leave the key at the desk ... I will not recommand it to my friends.
