Walton's Hotel is situated in the heart of Dublin at the top of Parnell Square, on North Frederick Street. This famous landmark building is also the home of Walton's Music Store, a name synonymous with Irish music and Dublin's vibrant music culture. |
 The Walton family have maintained the running of this business for three successive generations. The elegant Georgian terrace in which Waltons is established was constructed as 5 Georgian houses in 1790 by the Wide Streets Commissioner. One of which in the late 1800's was a small hotel and another, No.1 Frederick Street, was part demolished and reconstructed in the 1790's by the Wide Streets Commissioner to form a new street. |
