Where We Are

Worlds End, Kinsale, COR

Kinsale was the site of a battle in 1601 that was a turning point in Irish history. For over 300 years it was a garrison town and port of consequence, leaving a legacy of Georgian and Victorian architecture. The people of Kinsale take the preservation of their environment very seriously, and the town is noted for its successes in competitions such as Tidy Towns and the European Entente Floriale competition. Kinsale is within 30 minutes drive of Cork City (17 miles), Cork Airport (13 miles) and Cork Ferryport (Ringaskiddy - 14 miles). Blarney is 24 miles away, Killarney 54 miles and Cobh (via harbour ferry) 20 miles.

How To Reach Us

Directions to Kinsale from Cork Airport
At the airport roundabout turn right onto the R600 road signposted to Kinsale. Travel through the villages of Riverstick and Belgooly until you reach Kinsale. Pass through the town centre with the marina always on your left hand side and you will find us right in front of you at the end of the road. The journey normally takes about 20 minutes.

Coming by car from Shannon Airport
Take the Dual Carriageway towards Limerick City (N19) and follow signpost to Tralee/Cork. Drive straight for few kilometers until you reach a V junction (your are at Patrickswell). Follow signs to Cork City and drive on the Primary Route N20. Pass the villages of Mallow and Blarney and after about 90 kms you'll arrive in Cork City. Try to avoid to enter the city centre and follow signs to the South Ring West --> Airport (N27). You will reach a big (and busy) roundabout, follow signposts to Kinsale (R600). After a while you'll arrive at the Airport roundabout. Go straight towards Kinsale. Follow above indications.

Coming from Kerry Airport (Ferranfore)
All you have to do is to leave the airport towards Killarney --> Cork driving on the Primary Route N22. Once in Cork City follow the above indications.

Alternatively, we suggest not to reach Cork City.
You have two options:
1) Before entering the city centre, turn right onto the N71 road - take the Inishannon exit and drive towards Kinsale.
2) While driving on the N22 from Killarney, take the exit onto the Regional Road-R590 towards Kilpatrick village and at the T junction (before you reach the village) turn right onto R589 following signs to Bandon town. Once in Bandon turn left onto the N71 towards Inishannon. Exit there and continue to Kinsale.
