Most shops open
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Thursday is late shopping
day, when shops don't close until 9 p.m. Sunday trading is still
not particularly common but it is increasing especially on the large
commercial centres or malls on the outskirts of Dublin.
Major
Supermarkets
Major supermarkets and local convenience stores have longer
opening hours. Supermarkets stay open until 7 p.m. and convenience
stores are often open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Post
Offices
Post office hours: Monday -Friday 9 am - 5 / 6 pm, Sat 9 am
- 1 pm. Sub-post offices close at 1pm one day of the week.
