How To Reach Us

By plane: Dublin airport, the international terminal that receives most of the flights in Ireland, is placed 350 kilometres far from Kenmare. Meanwhile, the airport that serves County Kerry, Farranfore, can be found 50 kms away: here you will find connections to London, Manchester, Frankfurt and several islands in Spain.

By car: If you are coming from Dublin airport, it will take you around 5 hours to arrive by car. You must take highway M1 and get off at exit 9, towards M50 South. At a roundabout, go along the second exit, to the South, and at the junction with M7 take your left. Follow the signs towards Cork and at a second roundabout, go along the second exit, through the towns of Kildare and Portlaoise. As you approach Cashel drive as the signs for Cork indicate and you will come to Mitchelstown: here, as well as in Mallow, you must follow the signs towards Killarney. Eventually you will arrive in Rathmore, and it is advised to take road N570, also known as Kenmare road. There are two junctions along this track: in the first one you must go along Kenmare road, and in the second, go to your left. Drive on till you see on your right hand side the Salmon Leap Farm, veer right at road R569 and you will end up in Kenmare. The Lodge stands on Kilgarvan road, 2 kilometres before the centre of town, on your right hand side. Otherwise, if your plane lands in Farranfore, the journey is of around 45 minutes. You must turn left in motorway N22, again in N23 and at a roundabout, go along the third exit to enter N72. You will come to Killarney, where you have to drive along the second exit at the first roundabout, R877, take Beech Road and Laneway, and at a new roundabout, continue along the fourth exit, N71. After you leave this town behind, stay on N71 till you get to Kenmare. Keep on straight, pass the main street and at its end, take your left along the road to Kilgarvan. The property stands on your left hand side.

By train: If you want to travel by bus, there are units departing from Dublin airport and -after number of changes and stops- you can get to Kenmare in around 8 hours a half: at the plane terminal, get on a bus to the centre of Dublin (direction: Dublin Busβras, Store St - 35 minutes), then take another to Limerick (3 hours 40 minutes), a third to Killarney (2 hours) and a last to Kenmare (30 minutes). It is faster if you take the train at Heuston station in Dublin and change trains in Mallow: you will arrive in Killarney railway station -the one closest to the property- in around 3 hours and a half. Meanwhile, at Kerry airport there are buses reaching Killarney, and once here you can get on another bus to Kenmare: the latter takes around 30 minutes to reach its destiny. Finally, at Kenmare you may either walk to the property (it is a 2 minutes stroll) or get on a taxi.
