 At the Lodge the guests enjoy a bed and breakfast service, but in addition to this there are parking spaces where to leave the cars and a huge garden around the house where afternoon strolls are highly recommended. The reception of the inn closes at 10 pm, and the staff speaks mainly English and Irish. |
 At the property there is a dining room on the ground floor: it is here where irish buffet or continental breakfast is served. Among the items included, you can choose orange, apple, cranberry or grapefruit juices, home-made bread, scones, coffee and tea. |

| From The Lodge you only have to walk 2 minutes to the centre of Kenmare: the stroll is really worth taking, either to this point or to the many attractions in this city in south-west Ireland, as the scenary is absolutely spectacular. In downtown, the pubs, gourmet restaurants and craft shops stand besides historic signs like the prehistoric stone ring that reminds of the first settlement in the area, between the years 1800 and 2000 b.C., when the Celts arrived. |
