Nice quiet home. Gracious Host, close to Malahide and train stations for easy access to Dublin without the hassel of driving in that buys town. Good restaurant, the Links near by and on the ocean..lovely walks along the ocean and right on the golf course...Really close to the airport..perfect location for seeing the Dublin area.

The sign is fairly small and it would be easy to pass up the entrance if you were doing the speed limit on this main road. Also, there was a significant amount of road construction on the main road in from the airport.

A cozy and restful spot just off the main drag with lovely views. The owners'helpful recommendation of a wonderful nearby restaurant to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary was right on the money! This was also the first and only B&B in our 12 stay in Ireland to serve potatoes with breakfast, which was a nice surprise along with the homemade jams.

There was a very noisey road right next to the B&B. The rooms that face away from the road would be a better choice for people sensitive to noise, like my self.

Convientent location. Beautiful view over the golf course. If you stay in the Family Room there is a noisey road out your window. Great breakfast and wonderful host and hostess. Close to beach.

It would be helpful to know that the name of the town is Portmarnoch. Bus 230 was the correct bus, but the bus driver did not know where the Church of Marnock was and told us to get off at a different church. We asked a local person and she told us to get back on the 230 bus until we got to the town of Portmarnoch, about 3 miles further on.

We had a room facing the Golf Course which provide a great view!

We were able to leave our luggage at the B&B after we checked out so that we could take a walk on the beach before going to the airport.

Arrived there with no hassle was met by the owner and shown to our room

Our room had satellite TV which was good. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we had all the privacy we wanted. Also our hostess told us of all the local restaurants and hotspots which was nice and appreciated

Overall I was very happy with our stay at South Lodge B&B great value for money and there was a shortage of nothing-everybody was very pleasant and willing to help. I'd definately visit here again if the occassion arose!

Quiet, peaceful, great location for views and accessibilty. Rooms were great- clean private with a good choice of TV stations.
Service was great too,choice of any breakfast at whatever time you want. Really enjoyed it!
