Coming by Plane+Car:
On leaving Dublin Airport follow signposts for N1/M1 motorway to the city centre. At the end of the motorway as you approach Drumcondra turn left onto Clonliffe Road and follow signposts for the East Link Toll bridge. At the junction with Tolka Quay Road take the second exit off the roundabout and the Point Depot should be on your right hand side. When you reach the junction with the Toll bridge/North Wall Quay continue straight across the River Liffey, and you will then reach the Eastlink Bridge Tollbooths. Continue straight for 0,5 mile then take the third exit at the roundabout. At the junction with R111 turn right at the traffic lights then turn left onto Londonbridge Road. At a set of traffic lights just as you reach Haddington Road, turn left onto Northumberland Road and our Hotel will be on your left hand side at the first bus stop on the road.
Coming by Plane+Bus:
- Aircoach is a fast, private bus running between Dublin Airport and Ballsbridge from 5 am to midnight every 10 minutes. It stops at the Schoolhouse Hotel, 2 min. walking distance from us. Once at the bus stop walk in direction south and you will find us on the left hand-side.
- Otherwise an alternative service are the public buses. There are 2 bus services operating from directly outside the terminal building. They are numbers 41 and 16A and the journey takes about 45 minutes to the city centre. Once there walk along O'Connell Street in direction south and take Bus number 7 out up to Northumberland Road. Our hotel is 50 m far from the bus stop.
- Third option: Arlink bus number 747 (express bus service)up to 0'Connell street. Once there walk along O'Connell Street in direction south and take Bus number 7 out up to Northumberland Road. Our hotel is 50 m far from the bus stop.
Coming by Ferry+Car from Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port:
Follow directions to Dublin City Centre, you will be driving on the N11, continuing past the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) on your left until you pass a white circular building -the American Embassy. At the next set of traffic lights, you will see Jury's Hotel on your right hand side, go straight through the traffic lights and you will be on Northumberland Road. Our Hotel is on the right hand side. We are half way between Lansdowne Road and Haddington Road.
Coming by Train:
Connolly railway station is at approx. 3 km far from us; you can reach the hotel in a 5 min. taxi ride or by Dart. Take the train in direction Bray and get off at Lansdowne station. Once there turn left onto Lansdowne Road, walk up to the crossroad with Northumberland Road and proceed straight on towards the city centre for approx. 400 m. You will find us at number 46 of Northumberland Road. |
