Muxnaw Lodge offers spectacular views of Kenmare River and the suspension bridge and guests can reach the town in just ten minutes by foot. It is an ideal base for touring the Ring of Beara, Ring of Kerry, Gap of Dunloe, Healy's Pass, Glengariff and Killarney by car. The house is an attractive Victorian house which was built in 1801 as hunting and fishing residence for a family to use in the summer.
 
It has been converted in to accommodations by its present owners and is tastefully decorated and styled featuring some period antiques. The lodge can offer five spacious and varying guest rooms all with en suite bathrooms and a TV lounge, breakfast room, gardens and all weather tennis court is also within the grounds. All complimented by the friendly and warm Irish hospitality given from the owners that will make your stay a pleasant one.
