The Muxnaw Lodge can offer guests five rooms that are comfortable and stylish with a large slice of Irish hospitality included. The house presents all rooms with en suite bathrooms that are well equipped and modern. There is a great dining room where guests can enjoy a breakfast every morning, for which there is a varying menu, which is decorated with table chairs, carpeted floors and papered walls that feature some dark wood furniture and a large window that allow for plenty of natural light and a view of the garden. There is a TV lounge area with sofas and an open fire place that is ideal for planning your day out or just to relax in after a long day's sight seeing. |
Guests can enjoy the three acres of landscaped gardens around the property with the beautiful views and they will also find an all weather tennis court within the grounds as well as private parking. The owners can arrange meals as long as notice is given in advance and are more than happy to share their knowledge of the local area with guests and advise on where to go and how to get there. |

As well as walking around the large three acre garden guest can reach the local heritage suite of Kenmare in a 10 minute walk and discover the harbour views as well as many other attractions such as the Reenagross Park and Sheen Woods. The town also has many award winning pubs and restaurants which serve some great food and offer the famous Irish hospitality. There are some fascinating things to see like the 5,000 year old Druid Stone Circle, pre-Stonehenge, and Holy Well that claims the miracle of sight as well as other stone formations. The area can offer boat trips from the harbour where the fishermen can go try their hand at many different locations along the rivers and also there is a boat safari with the possibility of seeing the seals that live nearby. The area also houses many great courses that are very challenging and offers many wonderful sights around the Ring of Kerry which you can discover by car. |
