With regard to question 4 - I did ask for a double room and a twin room but got two double rooms so a change in details and the hotel was fully booked and they couldn't change. ... I was actually surprised with how clean the property was - the hotel is city centre so I didn't expect huge rooms - they were compact but exceptionally clean. The only down side really was the fact that we had beautiful weather, very warm and there was no airconditioning facilities and opening the window you are listening to the street noise and night time people going home from the pubs and clubs so that was the only draw back for light sleepers. ... The entrance is a single door off of Talbot Street and dosen't look the best so when you arrive you really don't know what to expect. But the place is kept very clean and if you are lucky enough when you arrive they have a small parking lot - it fits about 10 cars and it is free and secure - gate is opened and closed by the receptionist. Also there is a lounge area, roof terrace and lovely bright breakfast / dining room. So even though the entrance isn't great the hotel is really surprising. The lounge area, breakfast room were filled with sun light and the staff were very helpful. ... Great Value, Central Location, Very clean, expect some noise from the street. The dining room and lounge area are a great surprise.

The lobby was very small, but the room was nice. The only criticism I have about it was that the shower was very poor. It really needed to be updated. ... The staff was very accommodating, as they kept our bags until the evening time, when we were catching the train. ... You should very clearly state that there is no pub/restaurant in hotel. ... Very good shopping location for Dublin and also room was very clean.
