 The Hillcrest is situated just a mere three kilometres from the award winning Heritage site of Kenmare town in Co Kerry Ireland. It is just on the side of the River Sheen and is located near the Ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula. To reach the B&B guest have to cross a suspension bridge just outside of Kenmare which is a world Heritage site with plenty of interesting things to see and discover. The whole are is an unspoiled natural landscape offering great views and peace and quiet. |

By Plane/Car:
- Drive from Shannon Airport to Limerick; take the N20 and N21 through Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale and Castleisland to Killarney. Reach Kenmare via the N71. Once in Kenmare take the Glengarriff road from Shelbourne Street (left at the post office). Cross the suspension bridge and continue on straight for approx. 3km. Hillcrest B&B is to your right. The journey by car is an estimated 3 hours.
- From the Kerry airport, head towards Killarney via the N71. Reach Kenmare via the N71. Once in Kenmare take the Glengarriff road from Shelbourne Street (left at the post office). Cross the suspension bridge and continue on straight for approx. 3km. Hillcrest B&B is to your right. The journey by car is an estimated 1 hour.
- From Cork Airport, begin by heading towards Cork but then take the 1st roundabout and turn off towards Killarney via the sign for the N22. Pass through Macroom and Ballymageery and then take the Kenmare junction (Do not continue to Killarney). Pass through Killgarvan before reaching Kenmare. Once in Kenmare take the Glengarriff road from Shelbourne Street (left at the post office). Cross the suspension bridge and continue on straight for approx. 3km. Hillcrest B&B is to your right. The journey by car is an estimated 1 3/4 hours. |
