Facilities within the Property

 
The Hillcrest B&B offers intimate and peaceful surroundings with only three rooms on offer in the house thus insuring privacy and tranquil times. The breakfast is a large feast consisting of a full Irish breakfast of Orange juice, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes, Irish pancakes, crispy bacon and maple syrup or honey, yoghurt, fresh fruit cold meats and cheeses as well as tea and coffee all served in a quaint little breakfast room with view of the garden.
 
After that you may need to relax and bit in the lounge area which has sofa chairs available and is carpeted and features an open fire place with TV and book shelve. The garden is a landscaped garden full of green plants and trees and there is a wooden bench and chairs in there for guests to use to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings. The owner is also happy to share her knowledge of the area and advise guests of what to see and do and how to get there or point out where various facilities are located.

A few minutes away is the world heritage town of Kenmare which is a picturesque and historical town that links the Ring of Kerry and the beautiful Ring of Beara featuring its outstandingly beautiful peninsula. The town has a heritage centre that recounts the story and history of this enchanting town with its beautiful walks and stone features that are littered around it. After trying many of the walking routes guests may want to relax in a spa which they can do as there are some five star hotels in the town that allow non guests to use their facilities. The Kenmare bay offers fishing trips on boats and sight seeing tours along the river which are a great way to see the landscape. Golfers have a choice of four championship courses in the area with a great one being the Ring of Kerry club that is set in breathtaking scenery.
