By bus
From Busáras (Dublin Central Bus Station): walk outside the front door of the station, cross the road and keep to the left. Simply walk around the corner (to the right) and you come onto Lower Gardiner Street. The Hazelbrook House is located approximately up this street on the right.
By train
From Connolly Railway Station: take the lift down from the main station area to ground level. When outside, you will see Talbot Street in front of you, with a small green Centra convenience store on the corner. Walk down Talbot Street towards The Spire of Dublin, a giant metal monument which is visible in the skyline throughout Dublin. When you come to the junction with Lower Gardiner Street, turn right and The Hazelbrook House is located about 20 meters (21.8 yards) further on the right of Lower Gardiner Street.
By airplane
From Dublin International Airport: Dublin Bus operate a 747 Express Service from outside the Airport Arrivals Terminal and the Central Bus Station, 7 days a week. This service stops on O'Connell Street upon arriving in the city center. Do not get off here. Wait until the bus stops at the Dublin Central Bus Station. Your walk to The Hazelbrook House will then be approx. 3 minutes only, which (with baggage) is much shorter than the walk from O'Connell Street! You may also use the 748 Express Service from outside the Airport Arrivals Terminal and follow the directions above. The combined 747 and 748 service runs as frequently as every 10 minutes, 7 days a week.
By ferry
From Dun Laoghaire Ferryport: turn right upon departure from the ferryport and follow the road signs listed as An Lar or City Centre. Upon arrival at the city center, you must cross the river Liffey. As you cross the Liffey, watch for the gray iron railway bridge on poles, known locally as the Loopline Railway Bridge crossing the Liffey, downstream on the right. Follow the Loopline Railway Bridge onto Beresford Place, from Eden Quay. Turn left on Beresford Place onto Lower Gardiner Street. The Hazelbrook House is located on the right of Lower Gardiner Street.
From Dublin Ferryport: turn left onto the East Wall Road upon leaving Dublin Port. Turn right onto the North Wall Quay. Take a left onto the first Liffey Bridge. Take a right onto Georges Quay and get into the lane closest to the river. Take the next right onto the second Liffey bridge. Cross this bridge and do not turn left. Get ready to take a left turn onto Lower Gardiner Street. The Hazelbrook House is located on your right. | | |
