Coming by Air:
Dublin Airport is located about 7 km from the hotel.There are 2 express bus services, the Airlink which operated from the airport to O'Connell street. You can catch the bus n. 747 which stops in O'Connell street. The first service is at 5.45 am the last one at 11.20 pm. Tickets can be bought from the Cie Information Desk and the ride takes about 15 minutes. Aircoach is an alternative bus service, it leaves every 15 minutes linking the airport with the main hotels and places of interest. The bus will leave you in front of the entrance of the Hotel Gresham in O'Connell street. Tickets can be bought at the terminal station. Last alternatives to reach the hotel are Dublin bus numbers 41 and 16A. They are very cheap but less comfortable. They stop both in O'Connell street. Once in O'Connell street walk towards the airport for 100 metres and you will fidn the Hotel St. George at the beginning of Parnell Street on the right hand-side.
Coming by Train:
The nearest railway station is Connolly station, located 500 m from the hotel.It is the terminus for trains coming from Blefast, Sligo, Wexford and Rosslare. Coming by train you can take Amines street for about 100 metres, turn right into Talbot street and follow it until you reach O'Connel Street. Once in O'Connell street walk towards the airport (north) for 100 metres and you will fidn the Hotel St. George at the beginning of Parnell Street on the right hand-side.
Coming by car from Dublin Airport:
Take N1 (Drumcondra Road) to the city centre. You will find Dorset Street Lower. Turn left into Frederick Street, drive straight on and you will arrive in Parnell Square East. You will find the Hotel St. George on the left hand-side just before O'Connell Street. |
