| | | Irish culture is famous for its pubs and drinks and you will be staying at one of the must-sees in Dublin: the Temple Bar. These medieval streets are full of restaurants, pubs and bars, and were named after the Temple family, who lived here in the 17th century. The name Farringtons derives from the character in James Joyce's "The Dubliners" (the famous writer was born in Rathgar, a neighbourhood in the suburbs, only 4,5 kms from the centre of Dublin). |
This Victorian bar was opened in the late 19th century and still attracts tourists, young and older people. Among the specialties of the bar, you must try the stuffed Panini, the homemade oven-baked lasagne and the spicy cajun chicken. Placed between Christ Church and the Bank of Ireland, at this two-star hotel you will be really close from Dublin Castle, the Grafton Street (a must for shopping-sprees) and Trinity College. Of course you cannot leave the Irish capital without visiting St Patricks cathedral, one of the landmarks of the Irish capital city. |
