Coming by Plane+Car:
- From Shannon airport:
Take the N18 to Ennis. From Ennis, take the N85 in the direction of Lahinch and Ennistymon but about 2 miles outside of Ennis, turn right onto the R476 to Corofin and Kilnaboy. A few miles further on, you will come to a junction with a Castle ruin (Lemenagh Castle on your right). Turn right at this junction for Ballyvaughan (R480). Continue along here for about 10 miles until you come to a T-junction. At this junction turn right for Ballyvaughan (N67) which is just one mile on. In the village you'll see Hyland's Hotel. Turn right at the hotel in direction of Galway (still N67). Drumcreehy House is 1 mile out the road on the right hand side (yellow House).
- From Galway airport:
Take the N18 in direction Shannon and after approx. 20 km take in direction Cliffs of Moher-Ballyvaughan. Take the coast road and you will find us on the left hand side.
Coming by Car:
From Shannon you can follow the above instructions.
Coming by Train:
The nearest railway station is in Galway. Once there you can reach Ballyvaughan by bus n.50 or 423. |
