Airport: Kerry Airport is the nearest (about 50km), while Airport Shannon is about 170 km and Cork Airport is 90 km. If you land in Kerry we suggest you to take a taxi otherwise you can rent a car.
Coming by car from Shannon Airport:
Take the Dual Carriageway towards Limerick City (N19) and follow signpost to Tralee/Cork. Drive straight for few kilometers until you reach a V junction (on the left you go to Cork on the N20). Keep the right driving on the Primary Route N21 towards Tralee. After about 75 km you will arrive in Castleisland. Follow signs to Killarney and keep driving on the Primary Route N23. After few kilometers you will arrive at the junction with the N22 route. Follow signposts to Killarney --> Cork. Once arrived in Killarney there are two options to reach Kenmare. You can take the scenic National Secondary Road N71 (there are several signposts) or keep driving straight on the N22 towards Cork. This second road is less scenic but definitely faster. While driving on the N22, after few kilometers turn right onto the Regional road R569. This road will lead to Kilgarvan --> Kenmare. Once in Kenmare (notice the Lansdowne Arms Hotel on your right hand side) you are obliged to go straight. At the T junction turn right into Henry St, we are on your right hand side.
Coming from Cork Airport:
Follow signs to Tralee and drive on the Primary Route N22, towards Killarney. After about 60 km turn left This road will lead to Kilgarvan ---> Kenmare.
Once in Kenmare (notice the Lansdowne Arms Hotel on your right hand side) you are obliged to go straight. At the T junction turn right into Henry St, we are on your right hand side.
Coming from Kerry Airport:
All you have to do is to leave the airport towards Killarney --> Cork driving on the Primary Route N22. |
