Cappabhaile House specializes in luxury accommodation in a very peaceful rural environment. The house is owned and run since 1996 by the Fahy family, and Margaret and Conor Fahy will make you feel as one member of the clan. Their service and hospitality is personalized for each guest, and they could even help you to organize a surprise birthday party for your loved ones.
 
The Guesthouse is approved by the Irish tourist Board and has been awarded with four diamonds by the AA. They've also been awarded the QEP (Quality Employer Award) by the Irish Hotels Federation which ensures that they offer excellence in all standards of employment and treatment of their staff, all of them of a very high standard, extremely friendly and helpful.
 
From the outside the bed and breakfast looks like a big old style Irish cottage set in an amazing and breathless landscape that tempts you to enter and stay for a while, imagining that you are living in a big house in the West Irish countryside. Throughout the house one finds fantastic views of the Burren Hills, Newtown Castle and the Aillwee Cave centre.
 
At Cappabhaile House they have an extraordinary photographic gallery along the hallway which is dedicated to the Burren and they provide whatever information you require to get the most from your stay in the region. Ask for great tips and advice as regards tours, places to visit, walking, weather, pubs etc.

The comfy and spacious lounge area has brick walls, wooden furniture, a blue carpet and big black couches to sit, relax and chat, mingling with other guests. You could also enjoy reading a book or newspaper.
There's also an indoor playroom, nicely decorated and with games and a billiard free for guests. Children would also love to play and have fun here.
 
Breakfast: without a doubt their breakfast is an incredible experience by itself. A very extensive choice, very generous portions and brilliantly cooked and presented will satisfy even the most exquisite palates. Don't forget to try Margaret's fresh home baked brown bread! Expect a fully Irish Breakfast including fabulous omelettes (try different choices with ham, tomato, fresh herbs, mushrooms, etc.), a wide variety of cereals, yogurth, porridge, bacon, eggs (scrambled, poached, boiled), sausages, beans, smoked salmon, black & white pudding, toasts, assorted fresh fruits (Melon, apple, banana, kiwi, orange), Irish cheeses (B&W Cheddar, Brie, Cashel Blue, Edam, Gauda and Cottage) dressed with lettuce, cucumber and tomato, choice of teas, freshly brewed Coffee, milk and orange juice. If you do not care for a fry you can opt for Scambled egg and Smoked Salmon, or a fruit platter with fresh fruit as follows a melon wedge, an apple, a banana, kiwi, pear, Orange slices. You could also opt for a cheese platter of at least 6 Irish cheeses.
Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, including with the room tariff, and could be enjoyed in the beautiful dining room, with wooden tables and chairs, blue carpets, and brick walls. You won't want to miss this amazing experience, similar to a Roman banquet and with melodic music on the back.
 
In the outside backyard gardens, there's a perfectly manicured lawn for the children to play, run around and explore the area. It's also great for morning or afternoon walks. The House has free parking for guests and facilities for disabled people. There's no lift, neither stairs, since all rooms are on the same level. Accommodation could be pay through cash, credit cards and checks.
The farm setting in this 12 acre place, the beautiful location and the fantastic scenery will make your stay at Cappabhaile House a memorable experience.

Cappabhaile House offers many attractive activities to do nearby. The place is at just 200 steps from the entry point to the Burren way which is a maintained walking trail which links Doolin to Ballyvaughan. Margaret and Conor Fahy will be very happy to help you plan your activities in the area with walks, hill climbs, archeological or botany information.
- The Burren: is a glaciated carboniferous limestone landscape which has fascinating geological features wherever you look. It is full of caves, underground rivers, enormous erratics, and all sorts geological wonders that you would enjoy a lot, while being in total contact with nature; but most important of all it has some of the finest limestone pavement in the world.
- Ballyvaughan: is the natural capital of this amazing region. To further complement your visit to the Burren the guesthouse is only 35 minutes away from the famous 600feet high Cliffs of Moher which tower over the Aran Island. Here you can ramble back in time to explore this beautiful and unique natural formation with its thousands of varieties of flowers, foliage and rock formations.
- The Cliffs: are one of the most spectacular tourist attractions in Ireland. This boundary's with the Atlantic Ocean rise 700 feet above sea level and a visit is a prerequisite to anyone visiting Ireland.
At Ballyvaughan you can witness all these magic features and see for yourself the wonderful sight that it is to wake up to in the morning.
Ailwee Cave is at 2 km of distance and can't be missed, as well as the Newtown Castle, located at only 1 km from Cappabhaile House.
Biking trails, restaurants and pubs could be found nearby. Don't forget to try the Irish beers at a local pub. The Whiskey Pub in town is a great little place with friendly locals, ideal for spending a night drink and mingling with them.
The Burren is an ancient burial ground from the Stone Age situated in the heart of the Burren. Archaeologists still marvel at how the large stone on top was placed there. One of the most common images associated with Ireland.
The Burren walking tray is at only 5 km away from the Cappabhaile House, and Burren National Park is at 15 km.
70 km away is Bunratty Castle & Folk Park. This perfect recreation of a medieval castle and village is Ireland's foremost tourist attraction. At night the castle comes alive to the sound of singing as the castle hosts its famous banquets. Guests are invited to dress up in period costume and join in the merriment as they eat in the banquet hall as in days gone by.
Fanore Fanore Blue Flag Beach is at 13 km away, and has the Aloha surf school. It's highly recommended for surfers. And even if you don't want to surf, the beach is beautiful with golden sand and sparklingly clean water.
