Brookville Guest House is located in Brookvile Park, right at the entrance to Springhill Avenue on the Deans Grange Road in Blackrock. From Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port, it is only five minutes drive. The village of Blackrock gets its name from the black rock that lies offshore and once marked the city limits. TO BROOKVILLE - BY TRAIN: From Connelly Station, take the D.A.R.T. (electric train) to Dun Laoghaire and outside the station, take the bus number 46A, for 10minutes and get off at the shop called Quick Pick. The bus will turn left, but you walk straight through the roundabout for four minutes and you will see Brookville House across the road. There are two B&B Signs; cream walls ; lots of trees and ivy.
FROM DUN LAOGHAIRE FERRY PORT: From Dun Laoghaire Port it is only 10 minutes by car, bus or taxi.
BY BUS take the bus number 46A, which goes every few minutes, or the 746 and get off at "Quick Pick" a green shop, which is on the left at a roundabout, where the bus will turn left, but you will walk straight through the roundabout and 4 minutes down the hill, you will see Brookville House, across the road. (Cream walls, lots of trees and ivy, also, two B&B Signs.)
TAKING A TAXI, tell the taxi-man to take you to Brookville Guest House at the entrance to Sprinhill Avenue, on the Deansgrange Road in Blackrock.
DRIVING, when you come out of the Ferry Terminal, turn right and then right again, over the bridge, then turn immediatly left at the next "fork" in the road. You will come to a traffic-lights, go straight through, until you come to a traffic-lights, where there is a small church, on the right, turn right, then straight through the next two roundabouts and you are looking at Brookville House across the road.
FROM DUBIN AIRPORT: TAXI: A taxi is the easiest way from the Airport but can cost up to € 50.00. Just tell the taxi-man to go to Brookville Guest House at the entrace to Springhill Avenue on the Deansgrange Road in Blackrock.
BUS: The bus number 746 goes to a few minutes walk from Brookville. This is a cheap way to get here, however, it does take a long time, as it goes through the City and stops many times on the way.
CAR: When you come out of the Airport Complex, go southbound on the M1 until you come to the M50. Get onto the M50 and go southbound. Take exit 14 marked the N31 then straight through the next two roundabouts marked the N11. You will come to a dual carriageway, the N11, go straight through this and down to the bottom and turn right at the "T" junction. Brookville House in 900m up on the right, at the entrance to Springhill Avenue. There is a big green in front of the house. You will see 2 B&B Signs.
BY BUS - FROM DUBLIN CITY From O'Connell's Street, in the City, take the bus number 46A, which will travel out in a bus-corridor, on the N11, which is a dual carriageway. The bus will turn-off the carriageway at Foxrock Church into Kill Lane, then straight through a set of lights at the Grange Pub, up the hill and turn right into Abbey Road, at Baker's Corner Pub.
Get of at the third and last bus stop in Abbey Road, called P.K. Roundabout. Walk in the same direction that the bus is travelling for a few meters and take the first exit, sharp left down the hill for four minutes. You will see Brookville House across the road. There are two B&B Signs, cream walls lots of trees and ivy.
