  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    Check In from 2pm, Check Out before midday. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price is per room.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    We include a full cooked-to-order Irish breakfast by our resident chef.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Yes, all heating, electricity, staff, VAT and service charges are included.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Once you pay a deposit on booking, you must settle the remainder on arrival/departure.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English, Irish.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    The building consists of a ground floor of reception rooms and two bedrooms and the first floor is the remainder of the bedrooms.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Yes, all of them.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    All linen and towels are provided and changed daily.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    There is a courtyard and terrace for barbecues, several rooms have private balconies and the property is on 40 acres of lawns, woodland and fronting an estuary of the Bandon River.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    3 bedrooms have balconies.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    All rooms are non-smoking.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite TV)?
    All room have a TV and DVD player. A limited number of satellite channels are available in the rooms. There are two large flat-screen TVs downstairs in two of the living rooms which both have the full range of satellite channels, video and DVD.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    Yes.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    There is no air conditioning in the rooms but there is heating throughout.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    There is a private dining room which comfortably seats 16 people and the ballroom seats up to 50 people.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Yes, we have a computer for guests to use for emailing and there is Wi-fi in certain parts of the house if you bring your own laptop.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, but we are on a river where you can swim or go kayaking.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    There is ample parking for cars and buses.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    At Cork International Airport - 20 minutes drive away, or Avis or Hertz will deliver for you.
  • Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
    We are 3 minutes drive from one of Ireland's premier tourist towns, Kinsale. It has many bars, restaurants, a large supermarket and other specialty shops.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Cork International Airport is 20 kilometres or 20 minutes drive.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    No, but we can collect small groups or arrange for a local limousine service to collect groups. We can organise transfers by helicopter, private mini bus, limousine or saloon cars (Mercedes or Jaguars) to and from various places within Ireland. Just tell us what your schedule is, and we will arrange the bookings in advance of your arrival.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    In Kinsale where you can get buses regularly to Cork city. It is 5 minutes drive to the bus-stop.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Cork has a railway station with connections to Dublin and many other towns in Ireland. It is 45 minutes drive to the train station.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    We have a Massage Room and Sauna.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Yes, but must be kept outside.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    We have our own resident chef who will prepare meals for your group depending what you want. We do formal dining, casual dining, buffets, lunches and barbecues.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    Yes.
