 This big house with red bricks facade and green bushes around is surrounded by flowers. Inside, it's spacious and comfy. It has its own private car parking which is very safe for guests to leave their cars there. The House, decorated with antiques, silver and chine, is however very modern in its facilities, including wireless internet access and a selection of newspaper that keep guests informed. There is no elevator but a big stair with fitted carpet. The entire guesthouse is heated with central heat to beat the cold winters feeling warm and sheltered. |
 However, there is no air condition in the house, but the fresh air of the area could help to refresh the atmosphere during summer. The Ardawn House is famous for its succulent and exquisite breakfasts, offering more than seven options to choose, and with special orders at request. Among the delicious options of the breakfast are smoked salmon with scrambled eggs (fresh from the farm), various cereals, homemade brown bread and preserves, croissants, strawberry porridge and tropical muesli, prunes, peaches & yogurts, selection of fresh fruits, and additive free bacon and sausages. So there is no excuse for not experiencing a tasty Irish Breakfast! |
 The breakfast is served at the luminous wooden dining room, with ample windows, white tablecloths and high chairs available for children. The breakfast hour is the ideal time for getting to know the other guests of the hotel and chat with them in a friendly talk, as well as with the house personnel, who are most willing to help with any advice or directions around the city. |
 The guesthouse doesn't have a reception, but has a nice welcoming lounge where guests could seat and enjoy a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate with tasty cookies, reading the newspapers or city guides with all the info about Galway city center. The lounge is ideal for an afternoon tea or a quick bite before going to sleep. |
