The An Bruachan can offer its guests a choice of breakfasts every morning that is taken in the breakfast room. There is also a sitting room with sofa, table and chairs where guests can plan their day out.The property also has a library room where guests will find reference books, guides and maps of the area all readily available. |
Guests can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful gardens and the one acre of land encircling the property.The lady of the house is also readily available to help her guests with any questions that they may have on the area and where to go and what to do whist they are here. |

| The area has many hiking trails that lead all around the picturesque area and there are also organised hiking places as well as bike hire places that lets you enjoy a two wheeled sight seeing experience. The river allows for some fishing, trout season runs from March 15th to Sept 30th and Sea Trout and Brown Trout March 15th to October 12th. In the town you can visit the Kissane sheep farm where you can see sheep dog demonstrations, sheep sheering, lamb feeding and three marked walks through the mountains with magnificent views or the Kenmare heritage centre which charts the history of the region. Down by the Kenmare bay visitors can take boat trips for sight seeing or take boat trips for fishing out in the wonderful waters. The area also has natural parks with spectacular beauty to enjoy and the area has many great golf courses as well. |
